TRAIN OF THOUGHT

ABOUT ME

IMG_7091_edited.jpg

I am a latina from Paraguay, studying in Union College as an English major. Funny, right? Spanish is my native language, and still I came over to the States to study English. I have no idea what I'm going to do with my life, but no se puede todo, right? So, fuck it.

MY PICK

OF THE TERM

Now that the term is almost over, I can easily say that I do not have a favorite. Although, I enjoyed the 'all over the place' narration -- very relatable -- of Vile Bodies, the depth of emotions that Voyage in the Dark elicited, and though I didn't particularly enjoy Lady C's Lover, it is a given than when a book gets you so riled up about it, it was a good one. In that case, these three were my favorites from the ones we read in class for the mixed feelings I ended up having for all of them. I can easily say that I've a convoluted relationship with all of those books, and I love being able to say that about a book I've read.
