BOOKISHLY EVER AFTER - Isabel Bandeira

Phoebeee, where have you been all my lifeee

*read in singsong voice*

Remember when I said that Molly, the main character from The Upside of Unrequited was absolutely me? Well, Phoebe is thrown there in the mix of creating a me smoothie. Gosh, I know that reading all of these teen dystopian-fantasy-romantic novels is, at this point in my life, sometimes considered a bit too middle school (F- u Kris), but Phoebe just confirms it isn’t. WE ARE THE SAME, YOU AND I.

Phoebe has her nose constantly stuck in a book, she kind of lives in her fantasy worlds from her books — which, to be honest, same dude, normalcy is totally overrated — shy, witty, understatedly beautiful, and kind.

Normally, she’d be all up in her books, living it up with her book boyfriends, content in her imaginary worlds. Until Em, her best friend, tells her that Dev, one of their friends, likes her. Then, she’s screwed. If you have the brain of an overthinker and are an introvert, the you understand how dangerous that combo is. And Phoebe is definitely both of them.

If you’re a book geek — which if you’re reading this then you totally are — and a romantic, then you will relate to Phoebe in almost every level. Ayayayy how hard it is to be a girl with her head in a book in the real world.

This books is absolutely recommended if you’re looking for an easy and funny and cute read.

I LOVE YOU ALL. I LOVE YOU ALL. I LOVE YOU ALL.

P.S. I need a Dev in my life ASAP
