I wish I had the imagination of these authors. I mean, really, how awesome would it be to be able to create these worlds that authors do? I can barely choose names when writing a story. Which is why I’ll only ever be a lowly blogger... HA! Jk, I love blogging.
Anyways, I luuuuuurved these two books, Passenger and Wayfarer. Ugh, I hate that I write one post per series because then I can’t truly say anything about the books after the first in fear of spoiling. I should write one per book, amirite or amirite?
Etta is so freaking strong and beautiful and just, yeah. She’s had a rough couple of days. Finding out she can travel by traveling must be soooo confusing and disorienting. And waking up in the 18th century after being in the 21st and being a woman? Ugh, so frustrating. The tall, dark, handsome stranger with an accent does help, though. Ay, Nicholas Carter. He already has a kind of dreamy name doesn’t he? A bit too honorable and guarded for my taste, I think. But I wouldn’t mind having a Nicholas in my life — although I would prefer a Julian, tbh.
This is a book about travelers and passages and the mystery of the Ironwoods — and in Etta’s case, the mystery OF IT ALL.
The books really do keep you on your toes, gripping the pages — and in my case, my computer — to read more, more, more. This is nothing less that I would have expected from Alexandra Bracken, a brilliant author if I do say so myself.
These books are more than recommended — and the series is complete, so huge plus right there. Read them.
I LOVE YOU ALL. I LOVE YOU ALL. I LOVE YOU ALL.
