THE FANDOM - Anna Day

I love dystopian young adult novels. I actually entered the reader lifestyle after reading The Hunger Games. Great trilogy. But dystopian novels are always so predictable – or at least have such a similar plot – that we can kind of guess what it is that is going to happen next. Unless, the author does his/her part and adds a nifty little twist that throws the reader off, in an effort to break the monotony of dystopian plots.

This book is an absolute dystopian novel, with a novel twist (pun absolutely intended, heheh). Violet and her friends are die-hard fans of a book called The Gallows Dance. So much so, that they go to Comic-Con to meet the actors of the movie based on the book. Yet something happens and they find themselves trapped in the book. Apparently, books exist in their own little universe, who would've thought?

If you like dystopian novels but have gotten a little bored with the repetitive plot on most of them, or just simply love dystopian novels, then READ THIS. And if you aren't convinced about dystopian novels, then read this, and it'll convince you of their awesomeness.

This book is thoroughly and absolutely recommended. Read it.
