Ayyyyy is it even possible to love a book and not like it at the same time. I am so conflicted. I hate conflicting feelings. I mean really, there’s so many of those already going around lately (**wink wink - yeah, my emotional life is kind of a mess lately).
Anyways, this is a book about Rosie Sinclair. Gosh, there are so many things I want to rant about but can’t since this is a post about the whole trilogy and I don’t want to spoil anything for you guys. Except that I totally ship Linus and Rosie and I want a Linus of my own, thank you very much.
The thing is that, I’ve already read these books. You know how, you start reading a book that you either think is a single or just a two-book series but it turns out that it’s not? Well, that happened to me. I thought it was a single. Then I found out there was another but it wasn’t published yet. And so I waited. I re-read the first one and then read the second. Then, I found out there was a THIRD ONE that WASN’T PUBLISHED YET, either. And so I waited. Then, the third came out and I re-red the first and the second. And dammit if I didn’t like the books, but with so much re-reading I lost the feelingI had for these books and now, I’ kind of neutral. AND I HATE IT. I hate not having my feelings running around wildly begging to be written down after reading a book. I hate it.
Anyways, aside from my book-related emotional crisis. I really liked these books. I remember the first time I read the first one, my hands were itching to grab the second — as it always happens when I finish a book. Gosh, I really really liked them.
These books are definitely recommended. Read them.
